How the group managed people - Sarah-Beth
Our group managed people very well. We divided up the tasks that needed to be completed and assigned them to each other. We identified each others strengths, and gave them at least one task that would suit them. We also made sure each of use chose at least one that we wanted to do. This was to ensure that we each were interested in at least one area. This would mean it should be done to a good standard.
There were aspects of some of the tasks that each of us struggled with, therefore the members of our group would lend a helping hand. This was to ensure each member of our group were organised.

How well the group managed equipment - Sarah-Beth
To this date, we have not used many pieces of equipment. The only equipment we have used is the Macs. We used these for completing all the pre-production tasks that we have done so far. We each had our own Mac so we could complete work individually and in an organised manor.
Daniel has made an equipment list, so during production will be using more equipment. We will each have to be responsible for the equipment, and be organised in order for us to hire out the right equipment at the right time. This is to ensure that production is not held up.

Daniel Potter - How We Managed Equipment
So far we have not used much equipment except from the Apple Macs which we used to complete the majority of our pre-production tasks on, While I was completing the technical equipment list as a part of these tasks I did however look into the other equipment that we would be using during the filming of it.
These included both the hardware equipment such as tripods and the cameras themselves to film the footage as well as the software, mainly we will be using Final Cut Express to edit the footage that we have previously recorded.
During the filming me and Sarah-Beth used a digital camera and tripod to record our shots. This allowed us to get focused steady shots. We then proceeded to use the apple macs to edit the footage that we recorded using Final Cut Express which allowed us to create a finished advert between us.
To begin with we used the Bose headphones however towards the end of the recording these were unable to be used so therefore we had to improvise using Skull Candy headphones instead. However there is not too much difference between the two and there the improvisation was successful.

Daniel Potter - How We Managed Time
Our group organised time efficiently and effectively, all the tasks were totalled up and then divided out equally between the three of us to make sure everyone had an equal opportunity to achieve their wanted grade as well as to ensure that we completed the whole of the assignment by the deadline.
The majority of the tasks were completed during the lessons however if we started to fall behind on them we would complete them in our own time, either during breaks at college or at home to make sure that we meet the deadline.
If one person didn't use their time effectively and didn't complete one then we would be letting the group down too, therefore we managed our time to ensure all the paperwork was completed by the deadline on the 7th October
With the recording of the advert we split the recording up between us depending when we were available to film and then did our own filming during these time periods. Originally i carried out my filming at college, then Sarah-Beth proceeded to record her footage over half term. She then passed the equipment back to me to record any other footage i felt would be necessary during our advert.

Daniel Potter - How we managed people
We managed people in the group really well to begin with, at the start of the task we counted up all of the tasks and then divided them equally between the three members of our group, taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of each of the members.
Sarah-Beth was tasked with doing the Hierarchy chart, budget, schedule, recce and contingency plan, these were the more organised tasks as she is much better at the organising side of the production.
Georgie had to create the storyboard because she was very artistic, as well as the casting because she knew many people that would be suited to the roles in our production, as well as the report on factors affecting timescale and the letter seeking permission as they were the more formal documentation side of the production.
Finally I did the table of materials, the equipment list, the script and the risk assessment, I did these because they are the more technical and practical side of production because i am technologically minded.
However when it came to the filming of our advert the management of people deteriorated quickly, we did not get on well as a team. We sorted this by working separately in two groups to create the TV adverts, Georgie in one and me and Sarah-Beth in the other. This allowed us to focus more on the quality of the advert and the clips used.
However we continued to do the written work in the original group.
How well the group managed time: Sarah-Beth
Our group managed time reasonably well. We divided the tasks up to ensure they all got completed on time. We had lesson time to do the tasks but if we did not complete them in this time, we completed them in our own time. This was because we didn't want to fall behind, and risk not meeting the deadline. Each member of the group had their own responsibilities, and it was up to them to ensure they got their tasks done on time. We knew how much time we had to complete the tasks, so it made it easier to plan when we were going to do what. Time management is very important, especially when working in a group. If you do not manage your time correctly, you risk not meeting the deadline. Also, you let your group down if one of your tasks aren't completed on time. We planned ahead to make sure we would not run out of time. This was important because the deadline needs to be met.
How Well The Group Managed People; Georgie
We were able to manage people really well when assigning tasks to each other. When we were given the assignment we immediately divided the work between the three of us depending on each others' strengths. Dan was given the equipment based tasks as he is technologically minded, Sarah-Beth was given the tasks to help us plan the creation of the advert, giving us the organisation for when we begin the practical work. I was given the creative tasks such as casting and the story board to give us a clear representation of our idea to look back on in the future. Although some of the work is yet to be completed, I think we separated the tasks well according to our strengths and each had an equal workload to enable us to get the work done to a high standard before the deadline.
